Blackpool Culture Shops, Phase Three.

Friday 8th July saw the opening of the ‘Culture Shops’ Phase 3 programme, which presented five new window installations on Cookson Street, Deansgate and in the former 'Bar Red' windows in St John's Square. The programme carries on into early autumn and features works by Boz Phillips, Tom Ireland, Shirley Sloman, Charlotte Lonican and Maggie McManus.

 Friday 29th July – 25th August sees a special exhibition, again in 'the Bar Red' windows, by Corrine Streetly, an artist based in Blackpool and the director of blott artist studio collective, showing a solo exhibition of her new work, titled ‘PUNKADELICS’, co-insiding with 15 years of Blackpool’s unique hosting of the Rebellion Festival which is held from the 4th – 7th August. The festival boasts four days with 4 stages and is the ultimate social event in the punk calendar.
