Christmas Art Emporium

Christmas is on its way, and at Blott Studio, we’ve got some fantastic creativity on display and for sale for two weeks from Monday the 4th until Saturday the 16th December. Much of it has been created here in the North, by well known/established local artists and creative artisans.  An amazing array of art & crafts, vintage Blackpool china and ceramic mugs, and jewellerythere will be an opportunity to buy some unique products and meet many of the artists. National artists are also represented, such as London-based Stewy & award winning Sarah Maple.

Make your Xmas go with a pop!  Lauren Green’s pop art canvases would be a colourful treat for any wall.

Local artist Adrian Pritchard's paintings use the forces of gravity to channel the paint over canvases to create numerous puddle paintings, which vary from the tactile and sumptuous to the smooth and fluid. He “Investigates the nature of Matter” via “Viscous Substances, entropy and symmetry”, meaning that he pours, spins and throws paint at stuff and it LOOKS COOL.

Her canvases featuring the ancient Caledonian Pine and Silver Birch forests  really do encompass a winter wonderland. Jayne Langhorne’s work includes beautiful (and useful) ceramic platters and large forms, lidded bowls and trinket trays. “Inspiration for decoration is found and foraged for whilst walking along country lanes, before being taken back to the studio where coloured clays, oxides and glazes are used to create functional decorative ceramics.” Check out the pyramid clock…Love it!
